Brendan Rodgers guides Celtic to a record breaking historic season

The 2016-17 season that has recently finalized will be remembered by the Celtic supporters, players and head chiefs of the club as the year where a manager was able to not only win the domestic league without losing a single match but it will also memorized by the fact that Celtic FC also managed to seal their national treble.

Celtic FC won the Scottish League of 2016-17 after defeating Aberdeen on November 27 and also overcame Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup from the same season.

Brendan Rodgers is the 3rd manager in the entire history of Celtic FC to have accomplished this feat. The previous coaches that have been able to fulfill this historic task were: Jock Stein and Martin O´Neill.

The 44 year old Northern Irish coach Celtic FC; Brendan Rodgers talked about this historic season and accomplishments as the former Liverpool manager said:

"The word I said to them was infrangible. That was the word I wrote up on the paper but the players had arrived with a couple of games to go and then it's real, you can't hide from it. You have a chance to go through a whole season and not be beaten.

"But it's how we did it. The level of football, the tactical discipline and excitement they have given supporters has been incredible to watch. And they now stand alone in history."

Rodgers went on to label his squad as: ´´infrangibles´´ which is the same as unbreakable due to the fact that they did not lose a single league match.

This is a huge turn of events for Brendan Rodgers as the Northern Irish manager has managed to bounce back from his disappointing spell spent in charge Liverpool where he was not able to win a single piece of silverware for the English Premier League club despite being at the helm of the club for over 3 years and was eventually sacked due to underwhelming results.
