DELIA IS READY

Ronny Delia has done quite a lot of business of late, but, he is probably not convinced that he has got all his bases covered as far as his Celtic squad is concerned and he has hinted that he would be quite busy in the market again when the window reopens at the start of next year.

Deila secured the services of as many as eight players during the summer transfer window.

Celtic have already been eliminated from one of the competitions in the ongoing season i.e. the European Cup, but, despite that, there is a lot to play for. They are the current title holders and one of the favourites in the Scotland top tier and will have a lot of eyes on them.

Also, the Europa league is there to look forward to.
So, Deila’s urge to add more firepower to the squad is understandable.

Yesterday, the 39-year old Norwegian talked to a website about his new signings and his plans for future.

In that interview, he was quoted as saying, “I think we’ve managed to do well in the market and have formed a pretty good group. There was already a lot of quality in our ranks, but, the joining of some new guys has only got us stronger and we are ready for gruelling few months coming up.”

“We’ll be on a lookout for some players again in the winter. There is no lack of resources and that is always a good thing for a club. You want to be equipped enough to make sure you provide joy to your supporters.”

Celtic began the Premiership 2015-16 with wins over Ross County and Patrick Thistle respectively, but, then, Kilmarnock stopped them to draw at Rugby Park.

However, they returned to winning ways by beating Inverness CT and Dundee United back to back and are topping the table at the moment, and you wouldn't have a bet at StanJames on them not following it up.
