CELTIC EYEING FOURTH STRAIGHT LEAGUE WIN

Scottish champions Celtic are eyeing a fourth successive win at the start of the new Premiership season ahead of their home game with Hearts this weekend. Celtic are the team to beat in the Scottish top flight this season and they have started the season well with three wins from three games. The Ange Postecoglou-led team came make it four wins from four games if they beat Hearts at home when the two sides face each other for the first this season. The two teams will play each other for the first time this season on Sunday.

Ange Postecoglou has done a very good job since he was appointed the new Celtic manager last summer. In his first season, he led Celtic to reclaim the Scottish Premiership title from the hands of Rangers.

Postecoglou has led Celtic to three straight league wins at the start of this season. In the first game, Scottish defender Stephen Walsh and Portuguese forward Jota scored in the first half and second half respectively on the way to a 2-0 victory over visitors Aberdeen. Celtic made it six points from two games with the 3-1 away win over Ross County. After a goalless first half affair, Celtic took the lead through their Japanese import KyogoFuruhashi on 48 minutes but the lead lasted for just ten minutes before parity was restored thanks to the Ross County equaliser from Alex Lacovitti. Celtic would go on to win the game at the expense of hosts Ross County with two goals in the final six minutes. German central defender Moritz Jens is on loan from French team Lorien and he helped Celtic regain the lead on 84 minutes before Israeli forward Liel Abada sealed the win with the third goal in stoppage time.
Celtic made it three wins from three games with the 5-0 away win over Kilmarnock last week. As things stand on the Scottish Premiership log, they are at the summit and away from rivals Rangers in second place by virtue of a better goal difference.
