Celtic appear to have lost their way in the Scottish Premiership

Celtic appear to have lost their way in the Scottish Premiership after managing only two wins in the last five games.

This poor form has allowed Aberdeen, who are seen as their closest rivals in the league, have closed the advantage to just one point. Admittedly, they have played a game more than the table leaders. Still, they are too close to comfort for Celtic, who were expected to walk to the title. The absence of Rangers has really taken the sting out of the title race, as there have been few real challengers for Celtic in the last few years.

Celtic may lead the Scottish Premier league

Celtic may lead the Scottish Premier league and be on course for yet another league title, but their troubles in Europe under manager Ronny Deila continues following a defeat against Molde.

After their failure to reach the Champions League group stages once again under the Norwegian, Celtic were hoping to impress at least in the Europa league. It looks like they will fail to reach the knockout stages even in this competition after taking only two points from the opening three games. Celtic will need a huge miracle in order to come back from this position.

DELIA IS READY

Ronny Delia has done quite a lot of business of late, but, he is probably not convinced that he has got all his bases covered as far as his Celtic squad is concerned and he has hinted that he would be quite busy in the market again when the window reopens at the start of next year.

Deila secured the services of as many as eight players during the summer transfer window.

Steven Gerrard will be making a move to Los Angeles Galaxy

Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard will be making a move to the Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy when the current season reaches it’s end in the summer but now rumors have been popping up stating that Celtic FC is interested in signing the veteran midfielder before he actually goes on and joins the American League.

CELTIC READY FOR EUROPE

Celtic boss Ronny Deila has branded the club’s upcoming game with Inter Milan as the biggest of the season so far.

The Scottish club will be taking on the Italian outfit, who won the Champions League only in 2010, in the Europa League knockout stages.

After having failed to reach the Champions League only narrowly, Deila will be aware that he will be judged upon his success in European competitions and not on the league.

Celtic never able to take Lead in Europa League

Celtic had to come back from the scoreboard on two instances during their Europa League match against Inter Milan which was played on February 19. The Scottish side was motivated to not only come from behind but also eager on taking the lead which unfortunately never happened, but nonetheless Celtic still demonstrated what they had to offer as they forced Inter Milan on having to settle with a 3-3 draw.

Ronny Deila boosting confidence of John Guidetti

Ronny Deila, the manager of Celtic FC, is intending to somehow make John Guidetti feel confident about his game again.

Guidetti, who is actually a Manchester City player and is playing in Scotland on loan at the moment, scored a lot of goals for Celtic in the first 10 games that he played.

But, there has been a sudden downfall in his performances of late and he has now gone 5 games in a row without shaking the net.

Ronny Deila confident to win against Aberdeen

Ronny Deila, the head coach of Celtic FC, is ecstatic to have been able to win in the away game against Aberdeen despite being a man down.

With that win, Celtic also became the table topper in the Scottish Premiership. They don’t have a lead in terms of points at the moment. They are levelled with Inverness Caledonian Thistle, but, because they are so much better in goal differential, they are at the top.

However, the advantage with Celtic is that they have played a game less than Inverness. So, they have the opportunity of going 3 points clear if they win their next game.
