Rodgers on Boyata

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers said that he is happy that DedryckBoyata will be staying at the club until the end of the season at least. He said that he is an important member of the team and that it is great news for him that he has committed himself until at least the end of the season.

The Belgium defender will be out of contract at the end of the season and his agent has already informed Celtic that he will not be signing a new deal with them. The player is free to speak to foreign clubs but it appears that he will not be moving during the January transfer window.

Rodgers said that this is good news for the team as it will be difficult for him to replace a player of this caliber at this stage of the season.
He said that DedryckBoyata is a talented player and that he will be really helpful for the team on the pitch as well as off the pitch. He said that there are many young players who look to him as an example and it is important for Celtic that he stays with them for as long as possible.

“Brendan Rodgers said that this is one of the most competitive Scottish Premiership ever“ and that it will be really difficult to retain their title. He said that there are many teams that can win the title and that Celtic will have to be really consistent if they want to be crowned champion at the end of the season.

For this reason, it is important that they have the best players in the team and that it is good news that DedryckBoyata will be staying until the end of the current season. He said that he will consider strengthening the team if ever there is a good player available on the market.
